Final Reflection Something I learned in this class that will relate to the rest of my life and my career is problem solving. In this class, we learned countless problem solving techniques. We learned how to solve the same problem several different ways. This taught me that there isn’t just one way to go about solving a problem. It taught me to be open minded when I am faced with a problem because my idea of solving it might not be the only one. I learned that I need to be open to the opinions of others because there might be more than one way to do it. One of the most valuable things I learned in this class was that one decision effects the next. Over the course of this class, I discovered that much of the content was related. This forced me to pay better attention because I needed to remember what was in the previous chapter to do what was in the upcoming chapter. I learned to take my time when solving problems because if I got the wrong answer, it would affect the rest of the problem. I had to really focus and take the class piece by piece instead of rushing through my work. This made me take a look at my life and I realized how each part of my life is connected as well. I learned that the decisions I make in high school are going to affect college, and the decisions I make in college will affect the rest of my life. One thing I took away from this class was that hard work pays off. I went into this class a little nervous because I thought it might be too hard. I found out if I studied, took good notes, and completed my homework that I would be just fine. I realized that even though the class was challenging, I was capable of being successful as long as I put the time and effort in.
